Ive always used PowerDVD. Found it better. Have tried a trail of WinDVD, but I prefer PowerDVD.

I like WinDVD .Nice Interface and has always been reliable.
I did try PowerDVD in the past but had problems with the picture quality for some strange reason.
Its really down to personal preference.

  4. Both are same in my opinion. My home PC has PowerDVD (came with the DVD-ROM) whereas my office laptop has WinDVD. I see more or less the same features on both. Going with either, you cannot go wrong.

  6. I have found that POWER DVD 6 ... is crap !!!

i have found that power dvd 5 is a better version of the software because it is easier to use, and it is more user friendly and tools and features are ALOT easier to find and use...

i have found that winDVD is too hard to get my head round, the navagation around the program is too complicated to use ... however that is my opinion

    hope this helps !

  7. I found that Power DVD always gives better picture quality with DVD acceleration (ATI cards preffered).

However, I still like Power DVD 4 the best. Power DVD 6 is good too but I don't like certain features about it. Still though the picture quality is quite the same.
