Just saw it on cdfreaks, wondered if anyone has benefit from it?
Alcohol and Nero use their own ASPI driver, whereas Decrypter will use whatever is in system32 folder, or Microsoft's internal interface. If you are using Adaptec's, I suggest you use Nero's instead. Uninstall the old one, and copy wnapsi32.dll from /Program Files/Ahead/Nero and copy that to /windows/system32. Reboot and try it again. At least this way you'll be using what Nero uses, which you know works.
Also, check Decrypter's Settings - I/O page, and see if you are using the default, which would be Microsoft's SPTI. Change this accordingly.

Yes,I use Nero's wnapsi32.dll in system32 and dont bother with adaptec's aspi.
My programs that use an aspi layer work fine. -
What's wrong with Adaptec's? I have been using it forever and not had a single problem with it... that I know of anyways.
