Hello,
I am worried that I may have a problem with my Western Digital 250Gb drive. I have 3 other drives in my computer. One is a 20Gb and the other two are 80Gb. I am using Windows XP Pro and have noticed that Explorer will crash when I play video files from that drive. It sometimes happens with WMP, BSPlayer, and WinDVD. I don't notice it happening when I play a video file from the other drives. I also don't notice any problems with the drive.
Has anyone ever seen a problem like this?
Thanks.

try using the western digital data lifeguard tools. it can test the drive to see if it's failing.

Thanks budz.
I've tried what you suggested. I did both the quick and extended tests and found no errors. It took over 8 hours for the extended test. I'm relieved to find out I was imagining things. I apparently have a bad video driver or something because my girlfriend was playing some videos from the desktop and the same thing happened. I also sometimes get an error when I right click on a file. I forget the exact message, but it says something about NVidia Tools or something sometimes when I right click on something. It only happens occasionally though.
Thanks again.
