  1. Hi,

I currently have all the episodes to Rurouni Kenshin. I want to convert the ogm files to dvd.

    Problem:

appz used: WinAVI v6.3 (convert ogm to avi using divX codec 5.2.1)
appz used: nero 6.6 ultra (convert avi to DVD)

STEP 1) I used the app to convert the ogm files to avi (used default settings)

STEP 2) I then used nero to make a dvd movie + menu

The end result was a working DVD but the sound was only being played on the left speaker from my TV.

    Problem 2:

Step 1) I used DVDSanta to convert the ogm files to DVD
Step 2) I used nero to import the vob files and create a dvd but still sound comes from only one speaker

    Q: What am I doing wrong ?
Q: Is there an appz that will convert from ogm to dvd perfectly. I tried using WinAvi to convert ogm to dvd directly but the WinAvi would always freeze up.

Any advice would be much appreciated ! Thanks in advance !

Chances are they are only mono sound.

After conversion to avi, use a program such as GoldWave to extract the audio and convert to stereo. It won't be true stereo sound, but it will give you sound from both speakers. After you have the sound file saved, you can remux with virtual dub and then burn with Nero.
