  1. HELP!!!! I've got the AVI's and DIVX's converted to MPEGS which will play in my standalone DVD player, but I can't fit them on one cdr(which is my whole goal) after I convert them. I have 99min/850meg cdr's and have nero 5.5 and overburn enabled, but they are coming in at like .97meg when I convert them using either LSX or TMPG, does anyone know how to resize the mpegs to make them just a little smaller to get on one disk? I've been working on trying to do this since Feb this year. Anybody out there can help me? Thanks if you can!!!

I'm not sure if this will help or what you are looking for.
But I'm able to convert 1hr 25min of AVI into ~595 Mbytes of
    Mpeg using LSX3.5 (VideoCD format).

Set all the LSX properties to exactly the same values
as those shown when VideoCD is checked. Change all
motion vectors to 64 (otherwise it gets blocky).
Set performance to either slow or very slow.
Under files, uncheck delete temporary video and audio.
And make sure VideoCD is unchecked so you can change
the bitrate. Change your bitrate to something reasonable
(above was set to 700 kbits/sec).

After conversion, use TMGEnc to multiplex the temporary
video and audio using the "Video CD (non standardard)"
    format.

  3. If you use the above tip then you will need to make sure your player will play XVCD because the above tip creates a non standard disc

  4. Do I have to use the NON-Standard format? or can I make it into a mpeg1 format?

  5. file WILL be MPEG-1 but the bitrate differance makes a XVCD

standard VCD bitrate is 1150kbps with 224 kbps audio
