Hello all,
I am working with WinOnCD3.8PE extended VCD editor. When I try to save my work (the layout in the VCD extended editor) the file does not always save correctly. Has anyone else found this behavior ?
Let me describe in more detail :
When you save the layouts (the *.cpj file I think), WinOnCD generates a simple text file. The top few lines contain some general info like the total length of all the tracks, file size, name of the progect, etc. After that, there are several other blocks of text which describe each node and container which is in the project - one block of text for each node or container. Sometimes when I save my project it won't save the information for any of my nodes or containers, so I lose all my work.
thank you very much

The answer is yes, lots of people have encountered this behavior before, but I never heard of a solution.
I used to save frequently, using a new file name each time. That way I could go back to the previous version if it didn't save. But I eventually just quit using WinOnCD for elaborate disc layouts. -
None, unless someone else has a suggestion. You might demand a refund if you don't think you're getting your money's worth from the product.

No problems at all using WinME !
I always made savings of the projects, but stopped with it because I always create new projects (every VCD is different with me)...
