DVD to VCD compliant straight ahead

I’m looking for a tool that can convert DVD vobs set along with its audio to a VCD compliant straight ahead.

Any?

i use mpeg mediator [freeware] or sometimes tmpg for direct vob conversie mostly when the ifo file is missing

or you can create a new ifo file with ifo edit than you can use varius programs

Extract m2v and audio from VOB set with ReJig. Encode mv2 + audio with TMPGEnc to VCD mpeg system stream.

One tools is Super DVD Ripper. Other good one is InterVideo WinDVD Copy. The latter will read from DVD disk or from DVD file structure on hard disk. You can customize what titles, chapters to keep and select the target format as VCD/SVCD/DVD. The resulting mpeg file will be compliant to what you select can be stored on the hd and burnt later on.

If you have a full DVD, there are tons of applications - like Baldrick says, DVDx was my fav too, in those days - and most of all guides!
