    Hello to all.

I have exported a finished Final Cut Pro project in DV format and now I want to put it on a standard 480x480 SVCD.

All goes well using ffmpeg 0.0.9k and its SVCD preset, but when I play in my DVD player the audio is very "thin" .. there is no booms on my subwoofer like there was when I played the finished project straight from a MiniDV camcorder. Is there any adjustments I can make to make it sound better?

  2. I added a "normalize" sound function in the latest version exactly to solve such problem, but unfortunately you can't make it work in version 0.0.9k.

Well how about another possible encoding application?

  4. You may export the audio separately as WAV and use some application to change its volume (I guess Cleaner can do that), then use the "Mux as.. XSVCD" tool to combine the SVCD m2v encoded video and the wav file.
