I'm gonna be getting myself into some HTPC and there's one thing that I really want to have if it exisit is something to manage all of my video files tracks by tracks and folder by folder. I currently have a 400 disc sony DVD changer in my system but shuffling is very slow and looking song specifics on a video is not very easy.... here's what I would like to be able to do
1. I will encode all of my DVD or VCD collections onto the HTPC, I'm already prepared to have a few hundred gbs worth of HDD so I'm not concerned about space.
2. I want to be able to go to that track and folder with just a couple clicks as if I were using a standalone juke box.
3. Browse though the collection with title of each individual disc
This would be an awesome tool if it exist, so if it does can anyone point me to the right direction.

Well, for audio MusicMatch, Winamp, WMP can do everything you're talking about.
For video and audio combined, Winamp, WMP or J. River's Media Center. http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/
