Hi!
Got a small prob. I lend my dad a cupple of vcd to try on he´s new Widescreen tv (Pal). And I found a problem, some of my vcd´s did not work correcly. we culldent make the "black stripes" go away.
So what are the correct configuration in tempgenc ?
I want my vcd to work on a 4:3 tv and a widescreen.
Regards,
Magnus

A widescreen TV is always 16:9. So if your VCD contains 2.x:1 (there are several formats) widescreen material, you will have black bars on the top and bottom. Some TVs have additional zoom modes which can make the black bars disappear, but they do this by shrinking/expanding/cropping the image, so a purist like me wouldn't use them.

check your dads tv and see if under setting you cannot change the format to 4:3, if you can, that may fix the problem
