Well, I read in this site that a 800MB VCD movie can be fitted in a 80min CD (700MB).

I got a VCD with 784MB, but neither Nero nor VCDEasy could burn that VCD. In VCDEasy, I don't know why but the file turns into a 889MB size. And Nero refuses to burn the CD complaning that need a bigger CD.

So, how do I burn that VCD?

    Thanks in Advance

There seems to be a problem with your mepg and VCDEasy is autopadding. Try re-mulitplexing the file using TMPGEnc, go to the Mpeg Tools and select Simple Multiplex Mpeg1-Video CD.

The file was created with TMPGEnc. It was encoded using 1757 kbit/s for video and 128 kbit/s for audio. I guess the file is fine.

I tried re-multiplexing like you said, and I got this error:
    "16915 packets cause buffer underflow.
The MPEG file might cause error when it played"

I tried to burn that multiplexed file, and occurred the same thing with VCDEasy (file gets 889MB) and with Nero (asks for a bigger CD).

    Any suggestion?

    Wow

    ZippyP.
I've made wrong your suggestion, now I put Mpeg1-Video CD (before I put automatic - I'm a donk ) and now VCDEasy recognized as 782MB file. Despite I'm still getting the underflow error, I guess the movie is fine.

So, how to make the VCD already prepared for burning? Otherwise, every VCD I made I will have to multiplex?

It may be better if you reencode the file using the vcd template using TMPGenc.

Then it would burn in Nero.

That is what I used to do.

I had too many issues with vcdeasy.

I think the key here is to encode the VCD file yourself, instead of downloading an XVCD file
    If in doubt, Google it.

So, I downloaded a XviD file and so I created by myself the VCD file. Even so I got this strange issue.

Next time, you might wish to try loading one of TMPGEnc's VCD templates, as it should have all the settings you require. I believe that when making an XVCD (a VCD in all aspects, except the bitrate is not 1150kbps), you need to set the stram type to MPEG-1 VIdeo-CD (Non-standard).

http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/TMPGEnc1CD.htm might have some useful info for you in the future.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Yes, I think that's it.

The only setting I didn't change was Stream Type (I leave it automatic).
Now I gonna encode the second CD, this time I will mark MPEG-1 Video-CD (non-standard), lets see if this solves the problem.

    And thanks for your tutorial.

Nice help I got in this forum

Perhaps I didn't make myself as clear as I should have - if you use a video bitrate other than 1150, you should use MPEG-1 Video CD (Non-standard).
    If in doubt, Google it.
