I just signed up for this and I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with them. It works sort of like Netflix as far as having a queue of discs to be sent out to you each month (1 a month included) for a monthly fee of $5.99. All their single CDs are $5.99 each, 2-CD sets are $11.98 etc. Aside from your monthly pick you can buy other CDs at the same prices any time during the month. If it works out it should be a pretty good deal. They don't have an ENORMOUS selection but it's pretty decent from what I've seen so far. I don't really see CDs for $5.99 and no S&H anywhere else.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

For a second there I thought you meant that they were renting CDs like netflix. I was like, wow thats not for people to pirate all ALL.

Still that sounds like a very decent price per CD. Wonder what the hidden catch is.

A great deal in terms of price. I don't know how they do it but I wouldn't be surprised if you run into some kind of BS later on: earsed queues etc. I would suggest www.mp3search.ru instead (if this service is illegal where you live, PLEASE disregard that last statement.)

Personally, I won't pay even a penny for a new RIAA CD.

Still looking for that myself. Haven't found anything yet. I'm guessing it's sort of a clearing house for overstock. If I'm not mistaken it's run (at least in part) by BMG.

    Was that post for me?

I subscribe to Rhapsody so I don't want those free CDs!

I bought a LOT of records back then. Do ya'll know what a record is?

With Rhapsody I can burn the songs that I want, if I want to.
When you buy a CD you get a few good songs and the rest
    are junk.

With Rhapsody, Cap was making me listen to some filthy Harry
    Nilsson songs one night. :P

    Sick man!!!

Isn't that when laserdiscs were made of vinyl, and they were audio only??

    You got me......I don't know.

It streams through their player. I have it hooked up to
    the stereo. It sounds great.

(It doesn't play through Window Media player).

    I can't download the songs. Don't know if that's
    what you mean!

It's not like Winamp. That sounds terrible.
