  1. I just Bought Battlefield 1942 and it says for multi player 1 disc/player per computer it came with 2 CD's does this mean I can install it on another computer and use the other disc to play on 2 computers or do I need to buy another copy of the game ?

Don't think so, only one of them is the paly disc. That's a guess but I have never seen another game that was like that.

Get the Desert Combat mod, it has modern weapons. Much faster action and more action. The original is way too slow in my opinion. Besides those guys in those planes will chew you up since there very little defense against them. In DC you get stinger missles.

I think you can use the second disc to play, but only for LAN games as the EA online portal requires registration per serial #. Coop play is fun for a while but really only good when you can get at least 4 people on your LAN to fight bots. DC is a great mod, but also check out Desert Combat Extended (DCX) on top of DC as it adds some killer weapons and some neat vehicles on PvP maps. If you like the WW2 combat aspect then most certainly check out Forgotten Hope. It's a HUGE mod that adds tons of WW2 vehicles and weapons. Some of it doesn't play very well, like the aircraft feel cramped on some maps, but some of the sounds and all the additional content are well worth it.

  4. yeah I was thinking the same thing about the LAN games I could play it at home but no On-line with just this one game I also have the Secret Weapons of WW2 Exspation pack and when I play on-line I can use iether one of the 3 discs to play.

  5. Rallynavvie is correct, I had to buy two copies so we could both play online but you can play LAN with just one copy.
