I just started my new job a week and a half ago. Considering where I was with my previous job, I genuinely like this new one so far. Given, anything can change, but I really see myself being "happy" here. As happy as 40 hours a week can make me.

I like my job. I've got a few years to retirement. I'm in management now. My boss I see every week or two. He doesn't know what I do day by day. Just have to keep myself happy and do what needs to be done. Got my new company vehicle and I drive around a lot. Some nasty personnel issues, but otherwise I just teach what I know to the new people and keep the public and the politicians happy.

Pays the bills. Very much at the bottom of the food chain in regards to pay and recognition.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Working for the family business. I love the work that I do, although my family may drive me nuts sometimes. It's hard when you see them all day at work, then all night at home. The wife and I should probably move out, but we're just biding our time until my parents die. We're getting this house, so I don't want to "waste" money on rent. (I was joking about waiting for them to die, for you sensitive types)

Damn. I'm the only one who picked the TGPO option. How can I change it?

    I like my job

For example: Today is my last day of work this week. Off wednesday thru Sunday.

Also off next friday through monday.

We get out on the Dec. 17th through Jan. 3

Then we'll have MLK day, President's day, Easter, Spring Break...then of course June, July and August.

Add to that my overworked 5.5 hour day, with consists of actually 6 - 50 minute classes...so 300 minutes worth of work each day

Oh yea, and lets not forget the painstaking labor I am under, where it is a lot like the Newbie section of this BB. Where people who know, are explaining a process to 20-30 people at a time.

The pay is not the greatest, but I'm not starving to death. I'd like to live in a huge house and drive an expensive car, but I'd have to work much more than I do now, and to be quite honest about it...I would rather have the free time. My Tahoe gets me from point A to point B just fine.

I like what I'm doing. And it pays the bills. I'm not complaining

I could have ended up doing real work, so I count my blessings every day

Like Uni-corns, The "Non-Bitchy" wife is a mysterious creature that only exists in the world of fantasy and fairy tale.
