I'm trying to convert a DV cam capture to Divx...it's 44 minutes, 720x480....trying to covert to same size, same framerate.
Basically what I get is a 5 minute clip.....super fast....like most of the frames are just dropped.
The DV file is 9gb
What am I missing, is this a bug with ffmpegX?

Try to enable "Decode with Quicktime", yes it is a known bug of ffmpeg. Using the "Decode with Quicktime" option should fix.
