  1. Hi... is there anyway that i can burn my vcd movies into the dvd disk... what i mean is that like... i want to burn my vcd movie into the dvd disk.. and be able to play it as vcd not dvd.. i dont' want the format to be changed into dvd format... i want it to be able to play vcd in the dvd cd... is there a way... or is it impossible to do...

    The video part of VCDs is actually DVD-compliant as well. This means that you only have to change the audio from 44.1KHz to 48KHz. Most DVD Authoring programs such as TMPGEnc DVD Author will do the auio conversion for you automatically - all you do is add your VCD MPEG to a track just like you would add a DVD-compliant MPEG. It will then re-encode the audio automatically, without changing the video stream.

    As always, there is an absolute shitload of guides listed in the sticky quite appropriately titled Can I burn VCD or SVCD on DVD±R/W?. It might pay to search the guides or the forums next time
