Okay, I got a ADVC-300 here, and noticed it has a switch for Chroma Filter. You can set it to 1.3MHz or 2.0MHz. What the heck is the difference? The manual does not explain it.

From the Canopus forum -
Chroma-Filter:
It can change the frequency characteristic of the color ingredient for the output analog signal. There are 2 settings, 1.3MHz and 2.0MHz.
Normally, the 1.3MHz provides enough good subjectively quality for the output analog video signal for most of the nature image.
If the source signal has a high frequency characteristic of the color ingredient, the 2.0MHz setting will reproduce the source signal into the analog output faithfully. Sometime, there is a bit influence of the aliasing on it.He's a liar and a murderer, and I say that with all due respect.
