    I am using Nero to burn vcd's. I have used mpegprop and it says it is at vcd level. but when I burn it to cd i dont get anything on the creen (or sound).my dvd player is compatible with cdr, cdrw, svcd, vcd. I have tried a variety of cdr's but still nothing. when using nero i have tried everything (i think) could someone please reply with a more detailed guide in regards to using nero.

    It would help if you could describe in more detail what doesn't work. Does your DVD Player reject the disk completely, does it say something like "NO DISK" or does it accept the disk but doesn't do anything even if you hit "play" or "1"?

    Are you sure you're using a correct mpg file ? Try to re-encode it with TMPGenc and the correct template (PAL or NTSC, it might work.
