Creating menus on mpeg file?

hey everyone i am new to the forums, and to the video world. i made my first video the other day, using pinnacle 8, and the mpeg file came out wonderful, and it played in a standalone player just fine. i was wondering what i would use to make menus and chapter selections in it. thanks!

If you use Studio8 to burn disk (either DVD or SVCD), it can add
manu to the disk. It is very easy to use. I have used it many times.
If you only want to generate a mpg file, you need to add manu
at the time when you burn a disk, using some arthuring programs.
Or you can use Studio8 to create manu under "Make disk" option.
But in "Make disk" setup option, select one which save the disk
to the hard disk of your company, not burn now. This will create
several *.vob files only your hard disk.
