When I play an MPEG2 a logo pops up telling me i need to register my player "Elecard MPEG2 Player". If I uninstall said program I cannot play any MPEG2 encoded files "unsupported class" or something like that. Properties under Windows Media Player says it's using "Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder". How can I change it to another decoder?

    Thanks

"P.S. I am also having a problem encoding MPEG1 files in Vidomi and am unsure if it's related."

    Hello,
You need a REAL mpeg 2 decoder. Powerdvd, windvd, zoom player professional, and many others work perfectly. I don't know of any free mpeg 2 decoders that are still valid. Look here to try:

Don't ask for cracks here though, we deal with legit software or freeware.
