I was able to view avi when I had kazaa lite codec installed, but I herd some bad stuff about it so I had it removed. I tired using the Gordian Knot Codec Pack 1.7 but Media Player is unable to open the avi files. I am albe to use DivX player, but I rather play it from media player. Also I used Gspot and AVIcodec to check if the codec was installed and it is.. Did the codec did not get register with Media Player?
