The subject says it all. I just downloaded Sonic Cineplayer so that my Media Player 9.0 in Win XP Pro can playback DVD's. Although the DVD playback is present, the quality is unbearable. Skipping, buzzing, etc... just bad video and sound.
I've tried several DVD's and have also made the suggestions offered by Microsoft (disable Hardware Acceleration, VMR support) - turned down the volume and messed with some speaker settings. DVD drive is an NEC 2100 AD.
Any known issues that I should be aware of. I should have just paid the extra $20 for WinDVD or PowerDVD![]()
