  1. Hello All

I am using DVD-LAB to author my DVDs and I have the following problem:

I author the DVD and burn it in a DVD+RW with the BOOKTYPE as a DVD-ROM.
When I play it in my DVD player (Panasonic RV27), I can’t see the background but I can see the Buttons, if the movie is playing and I press the menu button it will show a rectangle in the upper left corner off the screen with a part of the original menu but the background is the last frame that was display.

This wont happened when I use a DVD+R or DVD-R as a final burn.

I try to re-format the DVD in it original +RW and re-burn it with the booktype DVD-ROM. Same result

Any idea will be appreciate, because this are my test DVD and I want to see how the menu looks before I burn it.
    Some Day I will…..

  2. If they work fine with a DVD+-R, but not with an RW on the stand alone, then it might be a media issue.

Perhaps testing the menus in PowerDVD or WinDVD might be the way to go.
