Is there a way to remove all the video codecs from my computer? Is there an easy way, or a program to do it automatically. I am getting weird green artifacts in ALL the videos I play, so I want to start from scratch. Please help. Also I have a Radeon 9700 Pro using the omega drivers, could the fact that I am not using the catalyst drivers cause that problem?

Go to your Device manager=>Sound, Video and Game Controllers=>Video Codecs.
    Hello.

What player are you using, and if you use more than one player, does it happen on all of them?

Yes it happens on every video I play, no matter what format or player I am using. Also the way you told me doesn't work. I tried removeing them and as soon as I open that window again they are back.

P.S. I sent you caps from my star wars dvds.

Thanks, for the pics, I will post them ASAP. Also, did you encode the videos yourself?

No, cause if I did they would all have green spots in them permanently. Actually you can see green spots in some of the images to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

The only things I can think of is to defrag your hard drives, clean out your registry (I suggest RegSupreme), and turn off any programs not in use when you are playing videos.

P.S> Send me the link for your Star Wars post. I can't find it anymore.
