I have disks that look the exact same on both sides and don't have a coating like most companys put on so I was wondering if my cd pen would work safely without leeking through. I need to a solid answer not a guess since I have fifty disks I have to label and if they get ruined all the information will be lost

you shouldn't have a problem...i've done it without any problems. but be careful...and keep the CDs protected well...cause the top chips so easily and you'll lose a CD. for those CDs I'd suggest putting sticky CD labels on them, protects them much much better. i've lost a few CDs this way.
