Hi all,
This is a wonderful website with many helpful users sharing useful tips with one another!
I have attached for your reference an example of the problem encountered with my capture from analog (Laser Disc) source. The actual output is in color but I have included a B&W pic with the same problem. Take a look at the tennis ball and you will notice some cross pattern (would the right term be cross color artifact?). It occurs throughout the entire color video image.
I am not sure if this is caused by the following:
1) Software: Using Sonic My DVD for the capture and burning. Can any software out there (eg Pinnacle) helps to clean up the artifacts?
2) Poor capture card in Quiktouch burner?
3) Capturing in NTSC or PAL format makes the difference?
4) Use of S-Video instead of conventional RCA cable makes the difference?
Appreciate your kind comments.
Regards,
Michael
