  1. Hi, I am totally green to this hi-tech lark and am slowly building a limited knowledge so please be gentle with me!
I have bought a pc with a radeon 9200se 128bit graphics card. It seems to perform ok to my pc's monitor but it also has another port in the back (s-video) which I have connected to my TV (simple s-video to s-video cable) but I cannot even get a picture up. I have tried switching it to tv in the software package that came with it (display properties- advanced- display) but to no avail. Has anyone had any probs like this, or does anyone have any advice please.
    Thanks
    Nige

  2. Plug the TV in with the computer turned off, then boot it up. The computer may not aknowledge a TV is there if it wasn't plugged in during startup. If you have already done this, I am out of suggestions as I run a NVidia Card.
