  1. I'm running a new Dell 1.8Mhz with 512MB ram and 40GB harddrive. The DVD Plug-in was working fine until I downloaded the update patch from the MSP website to support my Pioneer A03 burner. Now, when I try to launch the plug-in from the Editor by using the Export menu, I get a message that says there's an error in the "veditor.exe" file, and then the program closes.

    Can anybody help with this?

  2. I am running MSP Director's Cut V6.5, which is the same as MSP Pro less the graphics and paint plug-ins, with both DVD plug-in patches applied with no problem. I am running win 98 se annd I would guess you are running xp which might be the problem.

  3. I'm running Windows Me, not XP (yet). You mentioned "both" DVD patches...I only have one from Ulead's site...the "E" patch. Is there another that I should be trying?

  4. The two patches at http://www.ulead.com/tech/dvd_ftp.htm the DVD Power Patch and CDR-R/W Burner Patch. Although the CDR-R/W patch fixes problems with burner drivers I would recommend you apply both patches the burner patch first.

  5. Thanks for replying to what must seem like "stupid" questions. BTW...I've tried Ulead tech support and they are no help.

Some final questions: Since I already installed the "E" patch, do I need to uninstall it before installing the CD-R patch, like you said. If so, how do I uninstall it.

I suppose I could uninstall the whole package and start over.

  6. No such thing as a stupid question! I would do an uninstall and delete ulead32.ini in the windows directory. Do a reboot after install and each patch.
