  1. I am trying to back up one of my DVD volumes that has multiple episodes on it to SVCD (I don't have a DVD burner yet). I use forty-two (yeah I use a Mac but I have access to a Win 98 machine if its needed) to RIP the titles.

Now how should I go about getting multiple episodes on one disk. The episodes are only 22 minutes so I should be able to get 3 episodes to a CD. The problem is when I rip the dvd I get a bin/cue file so I don't know what to do to make multiple bin/cue files a SVCD.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If your getting bin/cue files I guess your extracting them as ISO files, why?
Go to your Win98 machine and rip into normal vob files.
    DVD Decrypter in ifo mode.
What size are the individual episode vob files?

  3. I use a bin/cue file because in forty-two I select the option to make a SVCD. Which gives me a bin/cue file to burn and thus creates the SVCD.

When I get the .vob files what should I use to burn them onto a CD?

  4. it'seasier using bin /cue files directly which is actually better.with vob you will need to demultiplex the audio and video use vcd easy to burn them.it supports bin/cue files better.
bin/cue files are best also when you want the dvd chapters to function on the svcd.
forget nero.vcd easy is the best vcd/svcd maker .period
