I've argued with this Dazzle Hollywood DV bridge for a few hours now. (I wish to God Almighty that I had access to the Sony converter I'm used to.)
WinXP picks it up just fine as a device. So, no problem there.
However, I've only gotten the "Digital to AV" working once, when I had the computer and the camera both connected through the thing's firewire ports. After that, it still didn't do a thing.
In the meantime, I've had to use the video camera (shoulder-carry studio-style) as a $4000 converter... at least out to S-Video.
Any ideas?
