  1. You know how on Chinese VCD movies where the left audio has the Cantonese audio track and the right audio has the Mandarin audio track.

I want to rip a movie from a DVD and have the movie audio track on one side and the commentary track on the other and convert the movie into VCD format. How would I do that?

I use SmartRipper and then DVD2AVI to get the two different audio tracks, but where do I go from there?

You could use GoldWave and load in both audio tracks. For best results, mix the stereo tracks to mono for each audio track. Effects/Stereo/Channel Mix/Presets/mono mix.

Right Click on one of the audio tracks and select channel. Then Edit/Delete. You will have one audio track with a blank channel.

Next right click the other audio track and copy then left click on the blank channel. Choose Edit/paste at/beginning and you will have an audio track with 2 seperate channels. Save as wave file.
