Recently when I completed a clip in Premiere Pro with Hollywood FX, I got a little problem. It seems reminiscent of the freezing transition in the old days with my Video Toaster. The last frame should be a freeze-picture flying away from the new sequence coming in. I didn't have that type of problem until recently. I'm using Premiere Pro and Hollywood FX Pro Version 4.6. It is obvious that in the Effect Controls monitor I can't see the frozen frame but only after I just export and review in AVI, I realize there is a frozen part most of the time at the begining or at the end of the transition. (BTW I have the feeling that Premiere 6 is easier to see your overlap movies with the transition than the new single timeline in Pro). The work around I have done yesterday was defragmented my HD then regenerated that transition; then the frozen frame wasn't there anymore.
This is what I have at this moment C: 46.8 GB -> 27.6 GB free; E: 114 GB -> 48.8 GB free; F: 114 GB -> 39.8 GB free. Do you think this has something to do with free space left in HD or something else? Should I regularly defragment my HD before exporting any movie or perhaps is there some source problems which could be related? Any hints will be very much appreciated and thanks in advance.
