I'll add to the TNG chorus. It's either that or Cosby.

Sledgehammer was a great show too. Most people don't remember it.

  9. You are forgetting the greatest show of the 80's:

    Macgyver

If only they released it on DVD or brought it back.

    2. Street Hawk

Then there was the show that would not die

    Knight Rider

I LOVED Danger Mouse when I was a kid. They stopped showing it on Nickelodeon about 15 or so years ago here in the states and I haven't seen it since, though I did grab a few eps off usenet a while back.

OK, I gotta comment on these.

Greatest American Hero. I liked it. William Katt was a believable superhero.
A-Team ..everybody watched it but, like Mr. Ed or Gilligan's Island, nobody admitted it.
Quantum Leap - Excellent show. A classic.
MacGyver - The only engineer-like hero on TV. The way he got himself out of jams. Mc-Mc-Mc-MacGyver I identified with him
    Thundercats - Gay
Transformers - OK. Saw the movie too.
    GI Joe - OK.
Silverhawks - Never heard of it.
    Smurfs - Gay
Snorks - Gay name, probably gay show.
Knight Rider. Now we're talkin ...I fell in love with that '83 Trans Am and ended up buying an '85 Trans Am myself. Knight Rider ruled
Wheel Of Foreskin - Love the show, would love to hump Vanna's brains out .."Spin this, beeyatch!"
The Price Is Right - Gay show and only acceptable if you have no nuts. Passable on sick days when watching it beats watching the puke bucket.
Buckaroo Bob- Buckaroo Bob? No way someone would give a show such a lame, retro name Eewwwwww!

Disclaimer: These opinions are only my own, and in no way are they intended to offend you. I'm probably wrong anyways

I agree, certain cartoons end up becoming kind of gay as time passes, but they were favorites back then. So I'll use gay inuendos in this post.

Hey when you're a kid, you'd watch a penis as long as it has cool gadgets and bright colors. Think of Power Rangers today. They are nothing more than Penises with cool gadgets and bright colors, and kids watch them. Nobaody admits watching rainbow bright and strawberry shortcake, but they were heavily rated shows back in the day.

Silverhawks was like Thundercats, only in the air. It's like Saban using Beetle Borgs today, they are just ripping off one of their own shows to sell the same crappy merchandise by switching colors and gadgets between the different penises. Karl Saban himself is probably gay.

By gay I didn't necessarily mean the show's cast was homosexual. I use that term for a lame, fruity theme that's just sweet enough to give you diabetes

You're so right about the cartoon producers and the toy companies whoring their wares to kiddies so much they just have to have it for Christmas :P That's dirty pool, IMO.

The stuff I watched as a little kid I would call gay now. Of course ...I'm older

Thomas the Tank Engine still ROCKS. I've got the whole DVD collection for my son (And back-ups for myself). We're heading up to Heber City, UT because they have a Full Sized Thomas engine running on the "Heber Creeper" track, whatever a "Heber Creeper" is. It sounds like a narrow gauge mining engine, but it's Thomas, so who cares.
