  1. I am wondering if anyone else has the problem of the QuickTime being read as a 600fps file in TMPG? Because of this I am unable to set an accurate number of frames for the Start and End encoding points. I am also unable to do an accurate Inverse Telecine. Does anyone know a way around this? Is there an updated version of the QuickTime reader?

I was thinking about trying to make an AVI reference file from the QuickTime and load that into TMPG to see if that would make a difference, but I can't figure out how to do that without recompressing or re-rendering. I'm looking for a way to give TMPG something it can read accurately without having to completely render a new file.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Try increasing the priority of the qt reader in the encoder settings.

  3. Thanks for the tip 'gitreel', but it didn't help. I put it at the top of the priority list and I still get 600fps. I've tried several other QuickTime files and they all have rediculous framerates according to TMPG.
