I've been playing with the Virtualdub filters and decided to try resizing and sharpening a vhs capture. I don't seem to be able to use more than one filter per pass, is this the way it's supposed to work? The big problem is that the filters only seem to work in full processing mode. This generates a file in excess of 80 gig from a 27 gig avi file. I don't know how big it would really get, as the program runs out of disk space before finishing. Thanks for any help. Nyah Levi

Either save it with some kind of compression , or
frameserve it to a MPEG2 encoder.
I assume you want to make a DVD eventually -
You can use more than 1 filter, your problem sounds a bit strange, cant say what is going wrong there, best for you to try more and if still no success post a more detailed problem description. I would also recommend what foo did, frameserve it to the encoder to skip the step of saving it to an 80gig file.
