  1. I am trying to find a way to get a file I play in Windows to also output through my S-Video out. I don't want my whole desktop, just the video. I'm using a Radeon 8500 and I know I've seen it done with the AIW Radeon. Anyone have any clues?

    thanks,

  3. I actually need to have my regular desktop on the monitor with a windowed video player, but have the video come out of the TV-out. It's for presentation purposes, so I can change the video playing on the TV-out without everyone else seeing what I'm doing.

  4. Ok Wellll..
Because u have an AIW Radeon I assumer you use the ATI File Player to play your videos. Here is what you can do to switch videos without everyone seeing what you are doin. You will have to load the videos in the order you want to play them before the presentation. So go to open, and open the first file, then go to open and open the second one etc.
Then if you notice that the controls have a control that is like to arrows with a line at the end, something like this >>| That will allow you to toggle between videos without having to go to open and load it again. It does this because it remembers the order that you opened up the files in the beginning, and it will assign each a number so it will let you select video 1 (the first video that was loaded) or video 2 etc. You don't want ppl to see you clicking this, so when you have the screen maximized so the desktop is not seen, you can hide the controls, and the page up/down buttons on the number pad on the keyboard will allow you to switch between videos also. You have to make sure that num lock is not selected though. If you hold the mouse over each of the buttons when the controls are up it will tell you the button(s) on the keyboard that you can press to make it do the same thing.
Now I know this is very wordy so email me if you have any questions, just click email under my name.
    Hope this helps!
