  1. Hi guys,

I am using Windows movie maker to create a slide show and burn it onto a CD. I want to watch it in VCD or DVD player. I burned it onto CD from movie maker option (Saved it as WMV format and i did not see other option) but i won't be able to watch it from VCD or DVD player. Can someone tell me is it possible to use movie maker to save it as a VCD format???

    Thanks.

Not directly, no. BUT, you can save as WMV then use TMPGEnc to make it VCD compliant.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Open TMPGEnc. Browse to the WMV file as your video source. If it has problems loading, try raising the DirectShow filter priority. Load any audio you might want with it. Load the VCD(NTSC or PAL)template. Click Start. This will create a MPEG-1 file. Burn using any software that can author VCDs.
    If in doubt, Google it.
