    Hi

    I am using Tmpgenc plus to convert Avi's to Mpegs. Everything seems fine at first but when I play back the newly converted file, the scrolling is a bit jerky. It is nothing really obvious but if the picture is scrolling across the sea or the sky or anything still then the picture "jerks" every now and then. This happens to every AVI file that I try to convert, whether it is to Mpeg 1 or Mpeg 2.
    Has anybody got any ideas?

    Try increasing the bit rate.
