  1. Hi all,

We got a new car that has a cd player that doesn't play mp3's... it also has a DVD player which will play VCD's and SVCD's, but not a disc of mp3's.

I'm wondering if there is a way where I can create a (s)VCD that contains only mp3 audio tracks as the source? That way I can pop it into the dvd player and listen to the music while leaving the lcd off...

    Thanks!

  2. Try making an svcd in tmpgenc, with 0 video bitrate, and audio to suit your taste (about 192kbps maybe?).
Join a whole bunch together, and burn DAO, like making a standard audio CDR.

Not exactly audio only VCD, but as you have the ability to play audio only DVD, why not do this, possible it could be adapted to VCD ??

    or this one

Two different methods, that achive the same end result, I'll have to track down a VCD tutorial to add to my site, which is where these two are located
