lost my guide and cant find it

i have been following a guide on how to convert .avi - dvd, and all has gone pretty well, only encountered a couple of problems, i remember the guide showed how to convert 2 channel audio avi's, and remember it said to do something slightly differant with 5 channel audio avi's...well i have come accross my first 5 channel audio avi.....went to look at my guide and its gone out my favourites list, and now its thrown me as i dont know what to do and i cant find my guide i was following, or any other guide explaining what to do with 5 channel audio avi's

can i still extract wav in full proc mode in vdub then convert into 256kb/s ac3 with ffmpgui, like i have been doing with 2 channel audio files?

hope so..... or do i have to use a differant method?

install the ac3 acm decompressor and you can exctract it to wav with virtualdub.
