Ok i take a avi and the quality is great but when i convert it with TMPGEnc to video cd and burn i play it in home dvd player and the quality is bad real blurry and blocks keep popping up!.............One more question when i convert and try to burn with nero i always get burnprocces failed a 4x. I would love if someone could help me thanks!

  2. Could you tell us what setting you use when encoding?
    Try bumping up the settings and turn off the filter for block noise as this could be what is causing the blurriness.
    About the nero problem, check on their website as i too hade a problem similar and they had the solution. If not then lower the burn rate

  3. im using the setting that come with it........I hit load then vcd ntsc...sorry im knew at this

    Start TMPGEnc & write dwon the settings it's using. They're crucial for anyone to be able to help you out. CBR, VBR, what bitrates, etc. Before you can give more info nobody can figure out what a possible problem/cure could be.

    By the way, VCD has blockiness anyway. If done properly not much, but it's just the nature of MPEG & the bitrates used to create a VCD file.
