  1. I have a 30 second video that I want to "stretch" to 90 seconds. Did a bunch of searching in the fora here, but haven't seen anything. How do I do it?

    Alternatively, I may wind up with a long video that I want to shorten (like time-lapse). If that's a different solution, I'd appreciate knowing about it.

    (I don't care about the audio -- I'll be replacing it)

    What editing software do you have.

    This is easily done in Premiere.

  3. First let;s assume it;s ntsc, if its pal modifiy the settings ccordingly.

    Install avisynth. Then make a txt file with extension .avs
    Int he file have it look like this
    avisource=("c:\file.avi").convertfps(89.91).assume fps(29.970)
    Load this av file into your encoder, it will be 3 times as long.

    Where c:\file.avi is the full path to the avi file.
    (of pal make the first number (75.000) and (25.000) respectively.

    Do NOT do this. this will make it take up 1 third of a second, not 3.

    Do it my way.

  7. I use Ulead Video Studio 7 and you can edit the speed of any particular you want, whether to speed it up or slow it down. I have the full package,
    I believe you can do the same with the trial version as well. I hope this
