Hey everyone, the ATI TV Wonder Pro capture card that I just installed is doing some pretty bizarre things. It has a feature where you can schedule it to record a TV program and the timer works fine but when I try to record on their best DVD quality I get slow jerking frames. Picture is clear just no fun to watch. So, I decided to try their vcd/vcr option of recording and when I do this, I get the capture but it is basically images moving through snow.
I'm wondering If I need to install a seperate AGP port Graphics card and if I do how does this really even help. Two seperate cards right?
Oh well, I'll keep fiddling with it.
Any takers? Randy

Your PC doesn't seem to be excessively slow, judging from your specs. It sounds like you may have an IRQ sharing problem. Check in Device Manager and see if the IRQ has been assigned to multiple devices. You want a dedicated IRQ when capping.
