VCR Recording AIW 9800 Pro

I just got a new computer, There is not a recording mechanism for capturing VCR tapes to disk. No problem with MMC 7.7-it gave me a recording button. This new just has a play button.
Ver, 6.14.10.6343, MMC 8.5
MMC gives me the launch pad, but no record option.

I can do nothing with it. VCD just want to play. Something must be missing, but I could not find it qon the Install CD.

Please help. What do I need to get this to work, All connects are correct using the breakout box.

You would use the "TV" program to record. The VCD program is just for playing VCD discs.

No VCR sound

Now I get video, but no SOUND. The following has been done:

1. Line-IN set on Sound Card Mixer
2. Audio Icon,in notification, area checked-working correctly.
3. Used ATI "Display Tab" to test sound. Line-In does not work, nor anything else.
4. Connected Output cable to Line in, as per ATI Display TAB
5. Checked physical connections-they are all right.
6. Single audio cable from VCR to Y splitter into breakout box.
7. Used two Radio Shack connectors to join the audio cable to the Y split. Maybe thats were the problem lies?

What did I miss? Sound cable worked with old computer-not with new one.
The sound is fine on the rest of the computer.

I use AIW 7500 and I read the manual. I have been capturing without any problem.
