  1. Hi,

got an Xvid avi with interlace bug, when i use ffdshow (Configuration: Miscellaneous -> Old Xvid Interlace Bug) everything is fine in Mediaplayer.

Is there any possibility to convert this avi to an other encoded avi or mpeg to get rid of this interlace bug???

    Thanx

Are you sure it's interlaced? When you watch it in WMP you see the combing effect associated with interlaced sources? If you want to convert it to progressive use Virtualdub and use the de-interlace filter. If you don't know how to use Virtualdub look in the guides section.

Definitely not an interlacing issue. You're probably missing a codec. As for whether FFDSHOW will remedy the problem, I don't know. You need to find out exactly what kind of video stream you have. Open the movie with G-spot and post a pic of the info it gives you.
