  1. I currently have a Dazzle DVC-80, don't laugh, and it stinks. For analog capture of 8mm tapes, which is better, Canopus ADVC-100, or the cheaper priced DataVision DAC-100? Or is there a better option? Thanks.

  3. I,ve updated my profile, I have a P4 3.2, with 120G WD HD, 1 Gig Ram, Dazzle DVC-80, etc. Just looking for the best overall card/box to capture old 8mm tapes, edit then burn to DVD. Thanks.

Did you read the comments for each in the capture "card" section?

If you can't decide, I'd lean towards the one that most other people get (because then you have a larger userbase to ask when you have questions).

  5. I am using ATI AIW now after having bad experiences with KWorld - twice, two of them died within 6 months.

    Avoid KWorld at all costs.
