I know basically what is and isn't illegal use of the P2P. What I don't know is; Am I allowed to use the P2P to download television programs?? I mean like the 30 minutes episodes of Friends or something?? Or is that also a no no!?

I always go by the rule that if I own the original, I can download it. This applies more to my VHS tapes that I want a decent DivX of, especially if I want to take it to uni with me. I don't see what's unfair about doing that.
I think in the UK we're still allowed to make a backup of our original, or otherwise be granted fair use so copying a CD to play in a car. I could be wrong, but morally I'm not so I'm not worried.
