  1. I know basically what is and isn't illegal use of the P2P. What I don't know is; Am I allowed to use the P2P to download television programs?? I mean like the 30 minutes episodes of Friends or something?? Or is that also a no no!?

  3. If it is illegal, I would rather not. I just assumed that since we can put a tape in the VCR and record them, wouldnt it be OK to pick up one episode you missed way back. Anyway, can someone tell me what the real deal is...

  5. I always go by the rule that if I own the original, I can download it. This applies more to my VHS tapes that I want a decent DivX of, especially if I want to take it to uni with me. I don't see what's unfair about doing that.

    I think in the UK we're still allowed to make a backup of our original, or otherwise be granted fair use so copying a CD to play in a car. I could be wrong, but morally I'm not so I'm not worried.
