  1. I'm going nuts trying to switch nero 6 out of wizard mode. I just cant figure it out. I have the nero OEM suite which supposly contains nero 6 burning rom. I just want to get to the "new complilation screen" and burn my vcds thru the guides listed here but I cant get out of wizard mode. The only two programs of nero I have is nero express and nero startsmart...arghhh!! Please offer a newbie sum wisdom and guidance!!

    Start, programs, then to the nero folder (may be called ahead) do you not see an icon labelled nero burning rom ?

  3. I'm not positive, but I don't think the oem edition of Nero contains the regular burning interface. That is, I think you only have the option to use Nero Express.

Yep, like what jester said I have the oem edition (Suite 1) and I have only been able to locate neros two programs, nero express and nero startsmart...If i had seem the nero 6 rom icon, I wouldnt have started this post in the first place. I thought maybe I didnt have the nero 6 burning rom so I went to the website and downloaded the complete nero 6 package demo and still the smae problem. Why am I the only one who cant locate this program?!? Please help

    I have the same problem. Running XP home, OEM version. No matter what I try (different version, re-install, etc) the 'Burning ROM' will not install! Only Nero Express comes up. I even tried re-installing my ASPI driver thinking there might be a conflict. Help!

    I found out after emailing nero support that you need to upgrade the oem suite edition to the retail version that includes the Nero Burning Rom which will costs $50...yeesh what a rip

    eeehhhh????!!!! Are they serious?! Well, thanks so much for letting me know. At least I'm not going crazy yet. But isn't it $50 for Nero period? Even an upgrade is cheaper! What is this OEM version we have?
