  1. hello,

i am new to the world of vcd's and need a bit of advice. i followd the instructions and burned some concert footage in mpg format to vcd. the problem is that the screen freezes for a few seconds between tracks instead of giving me a continuous play on the DVD player. i DID burn it disc at once.

is there a way i can get rid of this??

  2. Hi,

Can you give us more info ... What app do you use to create the VCD? Is it VCDEasy? Is it Nero template, etc. How do you burn it? Stuff like that, otherwise we have no clue.

    Cheers,

  3. i followed the NERO instrctions from here:

    https://www.videohelp.com/nero.htm

i have burned it DAO, with and without the menu enabled, different speeds...i am using the trial version of NERO 6.

each track of the show is a seperate mpg file, so the pauses are at the beginning or end of each track, depending on how you look at it...

    does that help?

  4. When I make VCDs on Nero 5.5, there is a default pause of 5 seconds put onto the end of the track. How to correct this is to right click on the file, go into Properties and change the 5 to a 0.

Notice on the guide that you have linked to there is a 'Pause' column next to the file name.

    Hope that this helps.

  5. Hi,

If you follow that guide, take a look a picture #2. Look at the window pane that you drag & drop the clips into. There is a column called "Pause", and I think Nero default it to 5 seconds (or sometimes infinite). It means that your player will pause 5 seconds (or infinite) before it will go to the next clip. You can change it to 0 (or whatever # of seconds you like) , by highlight the clip -> right click -> properties (or just double-click on it), a property window will appear and let you change this number.

You can also select mutiple clips at the same time, and do the same thing as described above, and all the clips will have the same property

    Cheers,

P.S. While writing this, I did not know Cole already answered your question.
