  1. can someone please help me out here? I am using Nero 5.5.4.0
and trying to burn bin/cue. I am selecting file/burn image then selecting the cue when I check the info I have 2 tracks of 804mb which is of course too big for a 700mb disk.
    thanks

  2. I had the same problem with Nero5.5.4.0 I think this version does not read the CUE files correctly.
Go back to Nero version 5.5.3.5, works fine for me.

  3. found the problem

    FILE "d:\Mirc\Movies\SVCD Movies\A.knights.Tale.SVCD.DVDrip-TWCiSO\CD1\Twc-akn1\twc-sakn1.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:06:00
open cue in notepad and delete second track

  4. Just curious question for numbnuts.

Are you using VCDImager to create the bin/cue files, then edit the cue file to add entry points, then use Nero to burn a VCD with (seamless) chapters ?

I like to try that too in order create chapters..

  5. Which part would you actually erase? Just the one line that starts Track 2?

  7. So instead of this:

    FILE "d:\Mirc\Movies\SVCD Movies\A.knights.Tale.SVCD.DVDrip-TWCiSO\CD1\Twc-akn1\twc-sakn1.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:06:00

    You would write this?

    FILE "d:\Mirc\Movies\SVCD Movies\A.knights.Tale.SVCD.DVDrip-TWCiSO\CD1\Twc-akn1\twc-sakn1.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    INDEX 01 00:06:00

or do you delete the corresponding INDEX line so you'd have this?

    FILE "d:\Mirc\Movies\SVCD Movies\A.knights.Tale.SVCD.DVDrip-TWCiSO\CD1\Twc-akn1\twc-sakn1.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

  8. I'll never understand why Nero, Fireburner, and CDR-win can't use the same cuefiles properly. It's ridiculous.

Wouldn't one want to be compatible, in order to lure customers away from one's competitors?

    Just change the line:

    FILE "d:\Mirc\Movies\SVCD Movies\A.knights.Tale.SVCD.DVDrip-TWCiSO\CD1\Twc-akn1\twc-sakn1.bin" BINARY

    To:

    FILE "twc-sakn1.bin" BINARY

As long as the .bin and .cue file are in the same directory, you won't have to worry about editing it should you move the files to another folder.

Ignore that previous post. I didn't read the question correctly and delete post isn't working.

Perhaps one should ask why Nero (and to a minor extent Fireburner) can't read cuefiles properly... For obvious reasons, CDRWin has no problems with CUE/BIN images.

  13. For goodness sake - just use CDRDAO. It's free, and it just works.
